New brake and gear cables

Guys,
The rear brake cable on my Airnimal has almost had it. It's ready to drop off at the end where it is attached to the brake itself, so I am in the market for some new brake cables.
I was reading an article in Cycling Active about cables, and will look at picking up some Jagwire Racer cables.
Will they fit ANY brake levers\bike?
Thanks,
FJ

anything sharp will do, the cable bit is easy to cut, but the outta cable is multi-stranded so requires a bit more to get through it neat
