i was in leuven for a couple of weeks working with the belgian army and i swear the artois tasted spectacular, i dont know if that was just a placebo though.

no that was just gayness attacking your manly english genes. On the other hand I got 4 bottles of a weirdly named belgian gauloise beer from lidl. 6.3% tasted just like leffe. I love the belgiumites.

I was told its all to do with where it is made and the water that is used. Is it brewed in the UK just purely Belguim? Horrid stuff anyway!

Babycham is a perry too. Pint of Babycham with ice cubes anyone?

How does it taste to say... Strongbow? I'm not a cider person myself but if enough people say it tastes good i'll give it a try

It's a bit like a cross between magners and strlongbow. Usually I have magners as is and strongbow with summer fruits (girly I know) but I can happily drink the Stella stuff as is too!

I'll be honest with you if its anything like strongbow itll taste shite.

Nah, their just compensating for the fact it's going to be sold in the U.K. probably to chavs who beat their dog wifes/gfs.

They can't handle their drink at all.

Let's hope they sell in on draught rather than just in those rip-off bottles. Don't like most lagers or bitter that much so quite like getting trolleyed on cider down the pub, especially when its warm and sunny.

Seems strange that they should call it a "stella" cider, as unless I'm seriously mistaken, stella, is a veariety of lager made by the Artois brewery. Surely It should just be Artois Cidre?

Marketing is a marvellous thing I suppose, I'm looking forward to a shiny new glass and some fancy adverts though, see how they play this one, clever little belgian fellas. There'll be a pear version by the end of summer if it kicks off.

Anyone tried a cider iceflow ?

Does it come out the pump already like a slush puppie ?

I've not managed to track down a pub that sells it near me yet :(
