Hi

Went to go for a ride today and the wheels wont go round as the pads are too tight to the disks. The adjustment on the handle bars is at full.

The bike was serviced a month ago, and they were asked to change the break fluid. Not really sure if this was carried out or not.

Any help appreciated.

Cheers

    push the pistons home.

if they will not then let some fluid out.

I wouldnt say it's been hot enough here for the tempreture to affect the hydraulics on your bike. Do as above and push the pistons (pads) back into position. Pump the brake and if they stick on again, chances are the seals will be dry preventing the pistons from returning. A bit of brake fluid on them should do the trick - but this may mean returning it to the shop if you're not sure....

Did they change the fluid with the correct type
worth finding out as the wrong fluid will cause the seals to swell and sieze the pistons up .
  • Also worth finding out if they overfilled the brake resevoir?

    What brakes are they?
    4 wheels bad
    2 wheels good
    1 wheel for fun

try adjusting the pad clearance with the adjuster.

    Hi Nick,
The adjusters are released as far as they can be.
