Afternoon all
Putting some tt levers on to Airwing DB bars. It's a change of bar for my general run around fixie.
I've had a look and the contenders seem to be
Cane Creek 200TT
ITM Low Pro
Tektro RX 4.1
They are all around £15 to £20 posted
The ITM is a bit heavier at 220g than the other two at around 170g
So just asking, as all the same price are any of the above better performing ie easier to brake, more comfortable etc?
Anyone recommend one over the other?
If not might as well go for one of the lighter sets rather than the ITM.
Cheers

In my (limited) experience with TT levers - they all work the same. They just pull the cable - there's nothing more to it than that. You don't generally have to use them much either in a TT.
I'd go for the ones you like the look of best (and are light). Some are a little 'thin' for my liking and almost dig into your hand when you pull them so I'd (personally) also go for ones that have a rounded profile - if possible.
Look at the Planet X calipers for something light and cheap and looks cool.0 -
Thanks for reply
More or less what I thought. Going to go with the Canes as handle shape a little straighter than the Tektro so suit airwing bar a little better I think.
Just wanted to check they were all much of a muchness.
As the fixie only has one brake and it's on an older 531 road frame, i've gone for a Shimano R650 (long reach) caliper as dual pivot and good reviews, £32 delivered. No point thinking about a tenner saved on a cheaper caliper when your flying over the bonnet of a side road pull out.
