Hi i bought a seal kit for my Giant MPH brakes, not to sure how to go about servicing them, does anyone know of any links on how to do this, i would imagine it is similar for most brakes?

I would not be so sure, for example Magura Marta are one piece casting with huge Torx alloy cylinder which I suspects unscrews to allow the pistons to come out whereas Shimano XT 4 pot are two piece casting held together by aleln bolts so I suspect the pistons come out by splitting the caliper.

Note: I have not had the need to do this so don't know for sure but judging by the gap between the two sides of th ecaliper, I'd would not expect a piston to come out through there like you would do with car brakes.

Apparently if i take the pads out i can blow the pistons out with an airiline (compressed air) i think abit of trial and error is required as long as i can put it all back together and it works :D

Luckily brakes come with a convenient hydraulic pump attached ;)
