Calais to Brussels

Hello!
I am going to the Brussels beer festival with some pals in September. A few of us want to get there by bike and I wondered if anyone has a route from Calais or from Ziebrugge they would recommend?

Go for the canals between Zeebrugge, Oostkerke, Moerkerke, Adegem, Vinderhoute and Ghent.

There's no canal between Ghent and Brussels, so there you will cycle more 'inland'.

The alternative along the Schelde and the canal between Brussels and Antwerp is really long (but often scenic)
