28K for a store manager?.. Is that really the going rate these days?

Depending how well off the chain is doing, can be done. A few stores here, granted electronics retailers, have some assistant managers going at 30k.

I would be so happy to take that as a job just to be around bikes and live well, let alone get 28k.

I thought sainsburys managers got more than that, thats the reason I was intregued..

friend i know is in charge of a tesco store and his in 20s he makes around 24-28k a year but has been told in 5 years he be on around 100k :shock:
