Hi everyone,
have any of you Malt 1 owners squeezed in a rear tyre bigger than a Panaracer Fire XC Pro 2.1 between the rear chainstays? It already looks a bit tight to me with marginal mud clearance but a bit more volume would be nice to enable lower pressures in the winter months and give my tailbone a break (no pun intended) in the dry season.
All thoughts on the subject welcome please! :?

you really want to go bigger than 2.35? wont it be too big for the rim?0

I dont know if it'll fit a malt, though it probably will, but i recommend a Maxxis ardent 2.25 folding 60a, i run one on the rear wheel, and its a good all rounder, and comes up big for it's size - it's a bit bigger than my Maxxis minion 2.35 which i have on the front - so it soak up the bumps well. It's also grippy enough without being too slow on road/xc.Hardcore hardtail:
