the door was secured and a metal plate put on it, as they dont have elec from mains up their and they cant leave the genny on all night there is no alarm or security lights!
last night the little c units broke in through the wooden structure and opened the doors stealling a £3k generator and a Quad Bike!

get a big fookin dog and leave him loose in the yard....a 'security' friend of mine once told me that a dog is more reliable than any type of alarm system0
-
flipping nightmre, i hate thieves.
hopefully the insurance will pay out or maybe even at an utter push, the police might be able to catch the feckers.0 -
Advice:
Shotgun = premeditated, not good.
Spade/pickaxe/axe/fork that was left lying around and picked up and used in a fit of rage = much more plausable...
Oh and get a dog. A big dog that barks lots.0 -

Insurance = check
Dog = check (it was fed drugged meat when they broke in last time)
Shotgun = already owned for pest control purposes
Alarm = not a possibility as there is no mains fed electricity - hence the generator0 -

I thought that only happened in films! :shock:
so did i, but apparently no, the dog was passed out, my mum thought they killed it the last time and when the police came he started to come round!0 -
i know it seems extreme but how about some sort of motion sensor that sets off an alarm in the house? there's got to be some sort of solar powered one available :?
solar powered alarm:

going to have a look into the solar thing and go from there0
-
Have it battery charged...
generator charges battery during the day... battery feeds the sensor during the night.0 -
sheeptwats
set some bear traps around the place or get a new genny leave it running and connected to the metal plate on the door :twisted:0 -
it's probably welsh gyspies that did it. Just dot a few blue eyed midgets about the place. job done.The dissenter is every human being at those moments of his life when he resigns
momentarily from the herd and thinks for himself.0 -
Put the jenny in a hole in the ground so that they would need a truck and hiab to get it out? And use geese instead of dogs, harder to drug, harder to kill and at least 125 times more aggressive than a labradoodle. Plus you can always eat the ones that haven't already sacrificed their lives to save your property as punishment.0

Dude really sucks to hear about the story man. Did they have any insurance on their property?
Hope all works out dude, most likely the same people doing it over and over again!
As far as advice what to do, maybe consider actually getting mains put in up to there, and installing a foghorn or something. or spot lights with an alarm linked to the house.0 -
stock up on these badboys for the shotgun :twisted:
i'm for the crotch, should incapacitate them for a while :twisted: :twisted: :twisted:
