[rant]Talk about demoralising! I can handle hills of any gradient that I can force my legs to turn up, that way at least you know the efforts is going somewhere. Couple a stiff wind with a god awful route profile and a one-way route and I really started to wonder why I bothered leaving the house![/rant]
How do you all keep pushing through when you find yourself in the small chainring on the flat?!
If anyone's interested this was my route today...lots of shallow headwind-ridden climbs with short, wasted descents.

Though having said all that, the wind surprisingly kept its direction for my return route for a 20mph+ return
