Chain guard

The daughters BF is using his MTB to cycle to work, its a Carrera Vulcan with a Truvaitive (cheap riveted) chainset, it has 5 holes in the largest ring that appear to be there to fit a 'trouser guard' but I'm jiggered if I can find one to buy - I've seen similar ones on bikes so know they make them - anyone help at all?

most chain guards are fitted as original equipment (then very swiftly removed by mountain bikers). You'll find it VERY difficult to find the exact guard as most aftermarket ones are designed to be as universal as possible.
Perhaps try contacting Fisher Outdoor Leisure, who distribute SRAM - which Truvativ is a part of. If there's a specific guard available, it'll be through them0 -
Thanks, just found that Truvative sell it loose as the Aero guard and just ordered it for a princely £5.50!
