New forks and effects on handling

I'm looking into buying some replacement carbon forks for my custom 26" wheel off-road non-sus. hybrid (it's a long story...). I've found some, but they're 1cm longer than the originals. Rake is no more than a few mm adrift from the originals.
Does anyone have any knowledge on how much a 1cm higher head tube is likely to affect handling?

You will slacken the angles by about half a degree. Your weight will be a little further back. The steering will feel slightly more stable.0

Thanks Supersonic, that's helpful.0

You might not even notice to be honest! Is a pretty small change.0
