Hi, I need some helpful hints, advices and recomendations on purchase. I am used to SPD cleats on MTB, but I think I'd rather try something with a better platform like spd-sl .New pedals, cleats and shoes on £130 budget, Thanks for your help.

Hi, I have Shimano M520 pedals with MO86 shoes. Not sure if the shoes are still made but you will get something very similar for half your budget. They are 2-sided pedals and the shoes have recessed cleats so you can actually walk in them. They look like road shoes so don't look out of place. Got mine from CRC. Good luck.

Have a look at shoe bargains on Chain Reaction, they had some nice Diadoras recently, mega discounts for certain sizes (not just unpopular sizes either)
