Rotor Query, Resin Pads Only.

My brother received his Deore M595 brakes today and the RT51 rotors that came with them say resin pads only. Does it mean non resin pads will knacker the rotor or is it just a suggestion and that resin pads work best with that rotor?

    I figure a rotor is a rotor is a rotor and currently using sintered with mine, I suppose they will wear out quicker with harder pads, but that's about it.

    fit sintered and they will work better.

    He is planning on buying four pairs of ss sintered pads, so was checking the rotor would be fine with them as they said resin only.
