    I suppose I do have that obsession - but the stem matches the colouring on the bars! The bars are the carbon 3T Ergonava, with red graphics.

    The real carpet is underneath - for some reason the mrs got fed up after I spayed oil all over the walls and bed settee?

    Stem is still the wrong colour. Stem should compliment the seatpost more than the bars, since most bikes shots you ever see are from the side. Some tippex will fix that :-)

    Defo looks like a 58. With the larger HT it looks great with no spacers. Is your BB to saddle top about 80 cms?

    It's a 56 frameset, with the bb to saddle top measuring 78cms.

    I take your point about the stem, but it looks better 'in the flesh' so to speak. I'll have to invest in the matching seatpost!
