Bike Fit Measurements

Hi

I have recently done an online bike fit calculator and the results are below.

Most of the figures make sense but I was wondering if anyone can explain how I set up the saddle-handlebar (where is this measured from) & saddle setback?

Saddle-Handlebar: 53.4 - 54.0
Saddle Setback: 5.0 - 5.4


The Eddy Fit (cm)
Seat tube range c-c: 53.6 - 54.1
Seat tube range c-t: 55.3 - 55.8
Top tube length: 54.6 - 55.0
Stem Length: 10.1 - 10.7
BB-Saddle Position: 68.5 - 70.5
Saddle-Handlebar: 54.2 - 54.8

The French Fit (cm)
Seat tube range c-c: 55.3 - 55.8

    but you should take the figures with several large pinches of salt...

    for instance the figures it has given you have a 2cm range on saddle height, but even 5mm makes a big difference!

    imho this is the fundamental measurement that everything else is built up from, so the calculator is really not telling you that much

    a bike fit based on static measurement is not going to give the same results or benefits as a dynamic fit that takes into account any foot angle/arch issues, flexibility etc. etc.
    my bike - faster than god's and twice as shiny
