RS Reba Motion Control does not snap back to unlock position

My Reba 2010 no longer reacts to the remote pop lock.
It seems like the motion control stopped "springing" back to unlock position when I release the pop lock.
There seems to be a lack of tension on the motion control.
Similar to thiis guy's problem but at least his motion control still have spring tension.

Anybody knows whats going on and how to fix it?

first disconnect the wire and check that it is internal and not friction in the wire.
if it is internal then the spring may have come disconnected in the MOCO stack there is a FAQ on how to get into the MOCO stack."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."
