whoops. i used meths and white spirit yesterday :oops:

i guess that's why my brakes were rubbish this morning. so i used a flame torch to clean the pads- it makes any oil/grease/meths on the pads burn off, and stops them going shiny and smooth, and i cleaned the rotors in warm water and soap, they're working great now.
