Mavic aksium or Fulcrum Racing 5 - which one?

I have a set of Aksiums and like them. They aren't anything particularly great, but a good workhorse type set of wheels. They are on the heavy side, but they have been durable and are fine for commuting and training rides.
I don't have experience with the Fulcrums, but I was under the impression that Aksiums were more comparable to Fulcrum Racing 7s, so the 5s could be better than the Aksiums. But like I said, I don't have experience with them and someone else may know better.
But I think you will like Aksiums if you are looking for a dependable wheel that is good for most general types of riding.0 -

The fulcrums are a whole 35grames lighter than the Mavics which considering the price differance between them i'd get the Aksiums, not to mention Mavic have some good hubs and are as mentioned above a good set of work horse wheels.0
