Been here for only a short time but would like your views on my bike, its a fresh build but rides better than my 2009 Zaskar elite which did shock me a little, but here it is after its first outing, and I rode it nearly 30 mile to test it

It was built on a 99 ground control frame with spesh e150sl forks (set to 120mm)
spec
99 frame with modifications for brake hoses, rear triangle had brake bosses removed then heat treated to regain strength at a local engineering firm.
Forks are e150sl to ride from 120mm to 150mm
Rear linkage is BETD 4.5.6" travel
Rear shock is Fox float
Brakes are juicy fives f 203mm r 185mm
front mech is XTR
rear mech is shadow carbon XTR
Saddle is Prologo Nago carbon Ti
Post is spesh enduro as are the bars
Shifters are 9 sp XT
Cables are the XTR ones inner and outer
Chainset is Truvativ Ruktin wit howitzer BB
F hub is spesh 25mm axle r is Deore qr
Cassette HG61 9 speed
Pedals DMR
Chain Yumeya XTR

No it has an adapter fitted to the dropout0

Its not light but then again its not heavy, I dont have the means to weigh it, roughly its the same as the missus's dawes0

Forgot, headset is FSA and rubber is Michelin, took three months to build and with the engineering on the frame and rear triangle the total cost with paint and decals is £1600 and it rides much better than my ex bike......the 2009 Zaskar elite
