I am close to finishing my new Yeti, should be able to post up some pics on Wednesday.

So, in keeping with the black and gold theme on my Hifi and carrying some of the parts on to the Yeti, the build is as follows:

Yeti ASR5A frame (black)
Fox Talas Terralogic 140/110 forks (black with gold stanchions)
Truvativ Noir groupset (black/gold)
Avid Elixir X0 brakes (black/gold)
Truvativ Noir handlebars (black/gold)
Chris King headset and bottom bracket (gold)
Thompson 70mm 0deg stem (black)
RockShox Reverb seatpost
Crank Bros Cobalt wheels (black/gold)
Jagwire hoses and cables (gold)

So excited about finally taking this bike out for a ride......

Finally finished, very late Thursday evening...thanks to Andy and Ben for their patience and skills :)

Took the bike for her maiden ride yesterday and I was very impressed, couple of hours at Swinley and she felt so tight and agile. Must remember to use the Reverb post more, though perhaps not so much at Swinley, however I just keep forgetting it! Great bit of kit though, works really well and it's quite surprising how far back you can hang off the bike with the saddle down...

Anyway, crap pics I'm afraid as my camera lead is at work and i've taken a couple of days off....so Iphone pics only for the mo :(

Didnt' realise that the X0 brake levers would mate with the X0 shifters, one clamp only which really neatens up the bars, quite chuffed with that little surprise!

Still to do are fit the XTR pedals when they come, gold Jagwire gear cables when they arrive and I've ordered a black SLR saddle as the white one looks a bit weird :)

So, apologies for the crap pics.....

Looking amazing, but you really need to borrow a decent camera and do this bike some justice

I will do, as soon as the final bits are finished I'll do a shoot at Swinley or at least somewhere better than my spare bedroom!!

Better pics a must before any judgement is passed.

Needless to say it looks like an awesome build.
