Hello

Been riding a while and completed multiple long distances over the last few months. Went out over the weekend, rode 200Km and devloped pain about half way through in the Achilles that could be described as stabbing pain but other times just painful. I have done the distance 3-4 times in the last six weeks so body should have been up for it. I've two pairs of shoes and had them for quite some time. I've aslo had a bike fit done in the last six months. And Ideas what or how I might have done thism, before I hobble to the doctor in the morning?

Thanks

You probably have an inflammation caused by overuse and possibly exacerbated by the rubbing of your shoe or excessive ankle flexion. Try dropping the saddle slightly plus take some anti-inflammatories and ease off for a few weeks.
Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..
