Afan forest park

Hi Guys,
Just wondering if many people had rode at the Afan forest and if so is it any good. Are the routes all marked like at Dalby, we are new to mountain biking and looking at places to visit once we have got more into it. Afan forest is a good 5hr drive for us from Hull area so wondered is it worth doing a long weekend.

Luvvin "The Afan" perfect for a weekend if you're cool with the drive; much to explore. check out http://www.brynbettws.com/ great as a base on the Wall or just call in for a cuppa.

have a look at this thread mate, there's a few trails closed and diversions in place at the minute. when it's fully open it's great. but not so sure right now.:

as you're coming from hull, maybe coed y brenin in north wales might be a better bet if you haven't ridden there0 -
