Chain tensioner with integrated bb, will it fit?

Hi everyone
I was looking at converting to a double and bash set up and I was thinking of ordering a blackspire chain tensioner with a BB mount ( http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Mode ... elID=17282 ). As my bike has an integrated BB (sorry dont know what model it is) I was wondering whether this would still fit onto it? (I dont have ICSG mounts) Also, do I have to have a bash guard or can I go without one if I'm just removing the outer ring? Any help would be much appreciated.
