Hope Mini Master cylinder rebuild?

I snapped the hex end on my Lever Adjuster Screw (HBSP105) on my mono master cylinder so thought I'd buy the rebuild kit. as it is better value for what you get in the full kit
Now I cant bleed the MC every time I try I keep getting bubbles in the master cylinder reservoir
Any ideas where I've gone wrong?
Should I have wet the seals with brake fluid before fitting?

Took apart the master cylinder , I'd fitted the piston seals backwards :oops:
so when the piston returned it was drawing in air
