Rims, can I.......?

i have a set of rhino lite rims, they are 30mm wide, they have DH 2.3 tyers on them, is it safe to run normal 2.1 tyres on these wide rims?

    i was thinking that, it would kind of be like tyre stretching like they do on cars if you cant afford low profile tyres eh? i think i will just get shot of the wheels then as they are too big

    2.1" tyres are fine on Rhyno Lite. Used to have them years ago with Smoke and Dart tyres!
