This has been my steed since 2009 and I wouldn't swap it for anything. Love it to bits and it's got my out of trouble many a time.






Upgrades: Rictchey WCS Bars, Headset, Stem Seatpost. SRAM PG951 Cassette, SRAM PC950 Chain, Shimano XT Shifters, Shimano XT Brakes. Ashima Rotors (Red) 180/160. Charge Spoon Saddle, Charge Grips.

Pretty light around 27lbs

Looking to change the fork lowers for 15mm Axle soon. With adapter obviously.

Hey man, awesome looking bike! How did you get a Hope skewer to fit the rear? Don't they need a special one because of the ABP? I'd quite like to get a new one for mine!

Thought someone might ask that.

I bought some standard Hope skewers and I (with the assistance of a vice and a lot of swearing) removed the original APB lever from the original skewer. Then I did the same with the Hope skewer which was a lot more determined to stay on!

I heated the Hope skewer to loosen the the resin bonds on the thread and it eventually came off. I then applied loctite to the APB thread and screwed the Hope lever on.

It's a faff but it does work if you can be bothered
