I want to buy a wilier izoard 2010th Athena but can't find any info on the maximum rider weight. Do any of you know or what would you advise?

Thanks in advance!

If they don't specify one, then there isn't one.

If its not too gauche, what do you weigh? The main concern is the wheels for the heavier rider. Your frame will be fine. I would tend to go for a higher spoke count handbuilt wheel if I were carrying a bit extra weight. Rather that than deep section radial laced low spoke lightweights. 8)

That's nothing, you're fine. I'd worry about protecting the wheels more than the frame - always get 25 or 28 mm tyres.

When a bike is racing at 50-60 kph with a 65kg rider it sees much bigger forces than a fat guy at 25-30 kph.
    When a cyclist has a disagreement with a car; it's not who's right, it's who's left.
