Booked in for Dartmoor Classic in June, official website has it listed as over 2000m(100km) but map my ride ihas it on listed routes as just over1000m - not sure what to expect - my first sportive - been training round Holmfirth/ Colne Valley , Garmin says about 1700/1800m in a 90km ride. Can anyone tell me how tough the Dartmoor Classic actually is ,thanks.

Have just dumped the two gpx routes into Mapyx Quo, and the 160km ride comes in at 3,400m of ascent, and the 100km ride at 2,100m of ascent. Dartmoor generally comes in at about 1,000ft of climbing for each 10 miles.

i'd map your regular rides on the same software and use it to compare it to them. the figures that are given dont seem to add up on the sportives i've done

Did the 100K version last year and my garmin logged it as 1750m

In regards to difficulty its dartmoor so somewhat bumpy, but a major bonus is that the last 15 miles is pretty much downhill or flat
