Crankset broke

HI,

I am thinking of buying this crankset for my Carrera Vulcan as my current Truvativ X-flow broke.

Only the left one broke because the squared shape where the crank goes into the end of the bottom bracket turned into a hexagonal shape and it keeps falling off. I haven't seen any damage to the bottom bracket.

If I buy this set is there anything I should consider and do I have to change the bottom bracket?

    for £6 i'd change it anyway

    you will need to make sure your current one is compatible and the correct length.

    That's a lovely looking crank btw! The Truvativ BBs are pretty rotten so no point in putting yourself out to keep it, better get away from that tbh.
