    some of those GT FS frames are ace looking, i still love the look of the fury.

    will the new bearings reduce the i-drive creak which was an issue on a few of the last breed?

    Was the creek noticeable worse? I've not known any full suss bike to not creak after a while.

    Yeah, on some of the id5 frames the bb linkage did creak quite a lot. But are a piece of piss to service, use fsa headset cartridge bearings. The new system is quieter and lighter, but not so easy to service.

    it was a fairly common occurrence amongst the users of mtbr.com (i also get the impression that GT are a much bigger brand in the US) but the noise didnt affect the actual performance from what i could gather.
