Know the campsite im gonna hit ti's a 45 minutes drive to degla, but 10 minutes to CYB, so i can do a few rides, as Deggla is shoot for anything more than a day.
What magical place is this that's 10 minutes from Coedy, and 45 from Llandegla?

Only when we're stuck behind tourists, tractors, busses, trucks, police cars, or old "gents" in their vintage sports cars.
    Oh, and 4x4s.

Well what ya need is a decent ram on the front of the car...

Now thats a play for the A470, a scoop ram like a snow plough for removing caravans from the road :P

Caravans, I forgot about them, I think I blocked them out of my mind

The A470 isn't too bad, at least there's decent stretches where you can see it's clear to overtake. Most of the roads north of, roughly, Aberystwyth, are shite though.

Through the beacons there aren't that many great opportunities to get by mind, and thats the lions share of my journey up :(

Travelling North to South or back is best done at night in Wales. Managed to make it from Swansea to Caernarfon in around 2:45 last time, in a fully loaded van.
Had to travel down there in the day, it took over 4 hours
