ive got a diamondback m:05 and as you can imagine its not great.
Ive upgraded the shifters and brake levers as the orignal ones basically fell apart.
But now im wondering whether its worth upgrading the forks and drivetrain or would it be better to just save up more and get a decent bike second hand.
I'm trying to do it all as cheaply as possible.
Any input would be great.
Cheers

Its mainly going to be for cross country riding, budget i reckon £200-£300 tops
Altho if i could upgrade the diamond back for much cheaper to an alright standard that would be preferable.0 -
Sell it and save for a better 2nd hand bike.
I got a mint 2nd hand rockhopper 2 years ago for £350. Funnily enough my son has the same Diamondback... is it the silver n black one from Halfords?
You'd spend a lot more than £350 quid to spec it to the same level as a used rockhopper.Cool, retro and sometimes downright rude MTB and cycling themed T shirts. Just MTFU.

Its a 19.5inch frame but im 6ft3, so is that going to be too small?0 -
