Hi
I am relatively new to servicing myself and today after a friends recommendation took my forks apart by unscrewing bottom caps and removing bottom arms! this was all well and good until a bit of fluid poured out! do i need to replace this urgently? and if so how do i do it?
Also one of the pads in the front brake keeps slipping out of position and i cant understand why? will new pads just do the trick? the level doesnt quite feel right aswell as it seems to stick a little bit!
Any help???

You need to do some reading - Fox website tech docs should help. Always best to read first.
Which brakes?I don't do smileys.

Yes, it needs to be replaced urgently. Follow cooldad's advice and then buy some fork oil.
The brake pads could be the spring; Hayes are infamous for them breaking. Remove pads and check the spring is intact, then go from there.0 -
If the spring is broken buy some Superstar, no issues.I don't do smileys.
