Bonjour!,
Just to let you know that the London Phoenix Easter Classic has just opened for entries, and this year we've gone one better and have 'les frites electronique' in place. As last year places are limited, so if you'd like to join us on the day, please sign up now.
This is an easy ride to get to for those living in and around London, starting from within the M25 at Fairlop Waters. We've got two fully signed routes on offer - 112km and 54km - and both will quickly take you out of the city into some of the most beautiful, quiet and unexplored countryside Essex has to offer. It's a really fast and flowing course for those with the legs, but also ideal for those just easing into the new season, or trying a long ride for the first time.
Those on the longer route will be fed and watered at the half-way point. We'll also be serving our legendary, top secret recipe oat bars and other goodies. And as if the day couldn't get any better, we'll also be showing classic cycling films in the fully licensed and super swish HQ post-ride.
To find out more visit: http://www.londonphoenix.co.uk/
Cheers, and see you at sign on.
Ken

Thanks jon, hopefully this year you'll be able to get round before the broom wagon sweeps you up again!0

Yeah, we'll see. I think 112km on a unicycle was asking a bit much, especially as I'd never been beyond my garden on it before0

congrats, a great event, stunning scenery (the yellow fields were almost unreal at times), good spirit on the road, well organised postings and the oat bars alone were already worth the event!0

Fantastic event, kudos to all those involved in making it happen.
was a great ride, great weather and a higher than average level of riding skills from those participating made it a far better event than more expensive, "brand name" sportives.0 -
great ride and thanks to cc ashwell for the ride to the feed and the rollapalluza mob for the ride home - the fastest 70 miles i've ever done!0

Go well, gents - done this for the last couple of years but can't make it this time. the commute from Sydney's a little bit further than the previous ride from Crouch End...point your handlebars towards the heavens and sweat like you're in hell0
