  • hi,
i cant comment on the raleigh.....
but iv got an 08 gt xc2 and to be honest i cant fault it, its been awesome, it had light use for the first year when i was building my fitness up now im up trail centres on the red and blacks on it abusing it round local trails and its pretty bomb proof.
i service it regular and it keeps on going, im just thinking of upgrading some parts ie shock, cassette etc rather than buying a new bike coz i like it so much.
my mate has got an 09 xc3 which he has no problems with.

take them for a test ride see what you think

    oh yeah................happy biking

have a look on www.bikeoutlet.co.uk - ive just ordered a Claud Butler Cape Wrath 3 from them for only £470 really good buy. There is a Cape Wrath 2 for only £350 too which is as good as the two you are looking at i think. They are last stocks of 2010 bikes.
    Current hack: Commencal Meta 5.5.3

  • I've just bought the mMongoose from rutland cycling. Very good service and well pleased with the bike.
