Hi all
I'm after some new riding glasses and fancy some Endura trigger or specialized adaptalites.
I would like something with a photocromatic lens too!
Anyone any ideas or anybody have these glasses or could recommend
some?
Cheers all

I have Speshes in both Adaptalite and NXT (fixed dark) flavours. Bloody brilliant. Very clear, very robust, very comfy. I don't think the adaptalite's change colour instantly (I can never notice them changing, too busy riding) but they definitely work, from very pale orange/yellowy tint to very dark. Admittedly when I'm on snow I use something different as they don't cut out the glare well enough for that - but hey ho, that's a totally different gameshow.

FWIW - I'm extremely fussy about glasses too (comes from working in the photo industry for a long time, I hate optics with visible distortion or without good clarity).

    Take a look @ http://www.rudyprojectuk.com/products/advanced/

I'm looking @ these with the prescription clip ons
    Plenty of lens tech/options too.

another vote for the Spec adaptive lenses. Make sure you get the mountain bike flavor though as it has a different range to the road flavor.

They go clear enough to see well in dark and gloomy conditions even when under the tree canopy. They go dark enough to cope on sunny days. Agree they don't go dark enough to fully cope with extremely bight days or in sun and snow but still do a good job.

You do look a bit like Brain from Thunderbirds when you wear them but functionally I am happy with mine.

I'm using photochromatic, prescription Oakley Jawbones which worked out way more expensive than I'd originally thought, but they do the job very well. The darks are dark enough for 99% of what we get in this country, the lights are fine for through the trees and overcast days, although probably not for night rides.
The styling certainly isn't to everyone's tastes though...

I'm using a set of Oakley Jawbones (Live strong edition) And to be honest i've not had a better set of sunglasses well except perhaps some North face ones. You can get many differant lens at a great expense and you can get prescription lens though the presciptions from what i remember arent all that many. Oakley lenses are brilliant though, couldnt rave up their lens enough, if it wasnt for the expense! (£80 for a set of lens heck you could buy a differant set of sunglasses for that!)

Spesh dont make Optics anymore so good luck finding what you want! They are bombproof though, I had a lens back that someone complained about, so we swapped it no question as Spesh do. Then we had the destruction test! It nearly beat us too, had to flex it over and over, it was not brittle at all.

Oakleys Rock. I was a sceptic until i tried them, comfort and clarity is is unreal!
I've got flakjacket XLJs with a iridium vr28 lens, great for everyday use in all lights, and a pair of half jackets with ice iridium for when its a bit sunnier.

    surffusion are cheapest I found
