Hello everyone,
Long time lurker, first time poster.
This is a question for all the fixie/ single speed guys. At the moment I have a create single speed (2009), I got it for £150 on eBay new, and it has done me well for a solid year and half commute...but its now starting to show its age and its gonna need a major overhaul of parts...new BB, new wheelset etc.
The choice is between, getting something brand new like a Fuji Feather (http://www.evanscycles.com/products/fuj ... e-ec024680) or is the create frame of a decent enough quality to just upgrade the various parts, new forks, new wheelsets, cranks etc. Basically, I don't want to waste my money 'polishing a turd', I'd rather have something better quality to start out with.
Anyone have any suggestions/ advice?
Thanks

If the enjoy riding it and it fits you well I'd keep the Create and upgrade it. You can always swap out the frame at some point if you spot a bargain. And now you know, and knowing is half the battle

If you upgrade it, each part will be what you want, you might be totally happy with a new bike - but may decide you need to change this part, you need to change that part etc.Bikes, saddles and stuff
