Stumpjumper bolt kit

I need a bolt to attach my rear shock to my 2008 Stumpjumper FSR, but have been told they're only available in a bolt kit that Specialized sell for £40.
I've found a few places online selling 2009 bolt kits for almost half that. Does anyone know if the kits are the same over the 2008/2009 ranges? I know the frames look pretty similar

    It should be a standard M6 bolt. i can't se why you'd need a £40 bolt kit.
    Take the bike to your local hardware store and get them to match a hardened steel M6 bolt to your frame.
    £40 is a total rip off.
