    Cheers.

    The plastic guard behind the rear cogs fixed to the spokes. Could this be removed? It doesn't fit to well and rattles a bit.

    Should twist off the spokes, then, unless you particularly want to keep it, snip it off with some wire cutters or similar. I did this to mine earlier no problems.

    I was going to do this earlier, but then i wondered if was serving a purpose?

    It stops the chain jamming between the cassette and the spokes, but if your mech is set up right this should almost never happen anyway.

    I get rid of all of mine.
