Don't know about "most" people, but having a bike on 0% finance is a bit of a no brainer for me at least.0

Doesn't 0% finance remove the possibility of haggling on price though? It might work out better to negotiate a discount and finance it elsewhere.................................................................................................................................................................................................................................

Credit card I would imagine0

My bonus was generous this year, so I'll be using some of that.0

I'm currently in the process of breaking a bike to sell as parts, this should raise about £1200, I'll use this to pay off a £1000 credit card bill, them use the rest and a bit more I have as a deposit for 0% finance.
So by buying a new bike on 0% I'm effectively saving money on the interest I would have had to pay on the credit card.
Therefore buying a new bike is the responsible thing to do.0 -

You will, however, be losing money on re-selling your existing parts.0 -
If you haven't got the money in the first place, then theorectically the product is unaffordable! Save the cash, otherwise you merely add to the giant ponzi scheme and become a debt slave.Plymouthsteve for councillor!!0

Well thay way I look at it if they're sat in my house not being used they arn't earning money and the older they get the less they'll be worth 2nd hand.
Maybe I'm kidding myself, but sod it I get a new bike so who cares.0 -

No, no, no. I'm helping rebuild the economy. Think of all the bike shops and bike companies that would go out of business if we all started being sensible!0 -
bought my latest frame for 2k on 0% finance, its a wonderful godsend, I've sold my old frame for just over a grand and upgraded a few dura ace bits slacking and thinking about a new set of wheels, really is a wonderfully easy was to get your next mean machine without pishing about with awful credit card percentages.0
