Quick Questions about Rear Shock Mount Bushings

I suspect the bushings for where the shaft of my rear shock is fitted to the frame are worn as a tiny bit of play (vertical, not lateral) has developed. Probably about 1 mm or less: you can feel it more than see it but I still have to dismantle and investigate.
My questions:
(i) are the bushings usually shock specific or frame specific?
(ii) will riding while waiting for replacements do any more harm other than wear them more?

They are shock & frame specific. TF Tuned will sort you out with some HD bushes.

As for carrying on riding, the bushes are there to protect the mounting hardware of the shock itself and are a lot cheaper than a new shock. FWIW the pivot bush usually wears first and although like your bike my Rize soon developed a tiny bit of play it was like months before I finally got round to replacing it, no harm done.

They are frame specific for that shock.

Riding will wear them more (they're not supposed to be loose!) but it's unlikely to cause any real harm.

Not sure about Rockshox bushes as I have Fox shocks but I would imagine the RS importer/distributor should be able to help you with sizing them and replacing them.*

*Mojo (Fox importer/distributor) are f**king brilliant at knowing what bushes fit what frame and supplying them.

+1 on getting the tftuned bushes.

manufacturer ones would go every three months on my bike. I fitted the tftuned one 18 months ago, still no play.
Why would I care about 150g of bike weight, I just ate 400g of cookies while reading this?
