Today, I Hate My Life!

So then i'm going to have a rant, so read on if you want, but i am just venting -

Me and the mrs-to-be have been sorting out moving in together for a while now, but we made the promise we would be debt free before we could move in.

I had a nice 28k of loan and had 5k on a credit card, built up by living way beyond my means a few years ago and things getting out of hand - but thats another story.

I earn enough to have cleared the credit card and the loan has been cut in half in the space of 6 months and will be 100% gone by september.

So the issues why i hate my life:

My job, i'm being given far too much work that i just dont understand, i do not have a degree in physics, i didnt when i got the job, and i definately dont now!

To earn i need to do hours (contractor) so why is it when i say to future mrs k i need to be working a 47 hour week every week (due to some royal farks getting married i am losing extra money) does she constantly question it?

She uses my car but when i spend ages cleaning it and tell one of her mates she cant bring porridge into the car as the last time she did it was stuck to the fruiting carpet!

We buy a sofa and the guy kindly brings it round to mine last night as it wont fit in my car, she does offer to help carry it up the stairs at any point, and i have to shlep it up the stairs on my own.

We got back together 2 years ago, and she used to run, get out and do stuff and then she got a bad back, the back is now better after me paying for a chriopractor and then an osteopath, but she hasnt started running, infact she actually gets home from an 8 hour day at work and "naps" until 10 and then goes to bed. I hate it

ARGH

i think i might go missing at the end of this week and make sure i have my mac book, charger and my stumpjumper and just disappear for a few days

Dude, I'll be honest, you and the Mrs to be need to talk BIG TIME.

That does not sound like a relationship that will last. Trust me.

Your job? Question it. If you don't understand what is being asked of you, you will screw it up. Is that what they want you to do?

I've been through some serious crap over the last 14 months, nothing is insurmountable believe me.

    Have uber love n hugs.

    This.
I did something simular, ended up living in Newquay, enjoying life again and getting rid of the Fiance who was mad as a box of frogs and spending all my money!
Since then i met my wife (again) and have 2 wonderfull kids and other than work i really enjoy my life.
and BTW your doing very well paying that much off your debt. Big sticks.

Now you need a proper job working 60+ hrs a week like me.

    Ditch. Head backwards.

But yea, doesn't sound right, you certainly need to talk, as it sounds a bit one sided at the moment.. what will you be like in 10 years if it continues like this?

Lol, my missus naps a lot, but that means peace and quiet for me...

to be fair, i have probably just written fdown things that make her look bad, which is probably giving a very pessimistic view of our relationship.

it will always be onesided to a certain degree as i earn more than she does. future mrs k is scared by the dependance she thinks she will end up placing on me.

i dont doubt our relationship in the slightest and i know that things will sometimes annoy me, but you guys are right i need to talk to her about this stuff before it gets out of control.

Well done on clearing so much debt in such a short space of time but why kill yourself clearing the rest? You've got it down to a more manageable level, I mean what percentage of people are totally debt free? Yeah it's reassuring but at the expense of running yourself into the ground? If you had a few extra hours off a week and took just a bit longer to wipe out the remainder, physically and mentally you'd feel the benefit.

As for the mrs? A long hard chat definately, and facebook photos of you with female "friends" may make her up her game

Your mail does not make it sound like you should be getting married. Then again you might just be ranting. Then again - why are you ranting? Perhaps you should not be getting married. Then again.....
You only need two tools: WD40 and Duck Tape.
If it doesn't move and should, use the WD40.
If it shouldn't move and does, use the tape.

What do you expect? This is what women do, spend all your money and don't thank you for it!

In reality though, my missus actually earns more than me but only by a couple of k, funny thing is I probably spend more of the income than she does :P

The dissenter is every human being at those moments of his life when he resigns
momentarily from the herd and thinks for himself.
