Awesome. That's a Dodge Viper engine, isn't it?

Yep, SRT-10 straight out the Viper. They use them on a pickup truck too.

How much structuraal work is that gonna need, totally new drive set up just to handle the power!

Cheaper probably to just buy an actuall Viper. but wicked funny on the lights when everyone hears that!

    M**********r!! 8)

With the stiffening up the chassis is going to require, I can see why he's done such a job on the tranny tunnel.

The SRT-10 wouldn't be my choice of mill, but damn, he's doing a fine, fine job. Beautifull fabrication on the shell.

Quality find, Mr louse! I'm gonna be keeping me an eye on this.

    I wish I could weld :)

Not that welding is the primary barrier to me taking on a project like this...

Simular to my plans but mine would have a 911 turbo mated with a 4 wheel drive system

I know the answer is likely to be "Because" but as a Saab Aero driver I have to ask "Why ?" :?:

Because one of his customers has a 800bhp 4 banger

and he had a crashed Viper and the time.

If the wife would let me it would now be a full stripped 180bhp turbo Panda, no weight plus power = fun, just for the sheer fun of doing it, either that or a nitro'd 16v original mini turbo. Had the 16v and the nitro but ripped the sub frame off before I could fit a garret .

You people need to keep away from bangshift.com

It's taken whole days of my life!

...and given me really, really bad ideas

Hmm, a 5.3 v12, an XJ40 back axle and an A35. It might just work.......

You can get the 1.3 jtd up to 120bhp for £300, I'm quite tempted to do this with my next bargain car. Seen the 180bhp one, fookin mental, if I can find it theres a great film of it out dragging a mini cooper.

    Loving that Saab.

One of the guys I went to school with build something like this many many years ago. He put a Rover V8 into a Morris Marina van that the company he worked for used to deliver 'specialist' tyres in. Awesome sound and accelleration, but handled like a dog.

I love mental custom builds like this. Might be a bit nose heavy mind, should get the engine from something like this:
