Hi All,

Hoping someone on here can help me rather than setting up an account at Motion Based for 1 question:

When following a route on the 705, how to you set the unit to give you advance warning of a turning which needs to be made? ATM mine bleeps and tells me to turn when I'm actually level with the turning, which is becoming a nuisance when travelling downhill or at speed on the flat, as I keep overshooting the junction.

Cheers.

If you use BikeRouteToaster then you can set the distance away from the turn for the alert. I've never had any missed turns from my 705 yet.
I've added a signature to prove it is still possible.

Ahh - cool. I thought it was something you set on the unit itself.

    Many thanks! :D

Check the settings anyway. Do you have the additional maps memory card inserted?
