Lyrik 2-Step Ticking Noise! Annoying!

I recently got my Lyrik 2-Step back from an overhaul. From what I can tell, it's significantly smoother than it was when I got it used. However, it continues to make this annoying ticking noise in the first ~20mm of travel. It''s also more than a noise, as I can feel the tick through my handlebars. I should also mention that this noise is coming from the Mission Control damper tube.

Is this normal for a 2008 Lyrik? What could it be?
