Im thinking of buying a Brooks Team Pro saddle after having a sit on a friends and hearing good things about them . Has anyone on here got one on a bike and what do they think. ive seen the copper railed one on ebay for £99 and it s a thing of beauty ,i know they are about 150 grams heavier than your average saddle but i dont race and have my phone etc with me when i cycle anyway so the additional weight isnt an issue, thanks

Brooks are great once they fit your erm, body. But, they do have to 'fit' your bike. Leather and carbon-fibre don't really go together.
I've got a Brooks on my Wayfarer, but the fixed/road-bike and mtb are all modern ti railed SLR's. Having developed an SLR posterior the Brooks is like a comfy old armchair, but some cyclists suffer in the first month or so.FCN16 - 1970 BSA Wayfarer
