Get something long and thin, coat in WD40 or GT85, or deodarant spray, spray on item, push under grip, spray a bit more in, move long thin thing about. Then pull off ;-)
I find a plastic chopstick works well, as won't scratch the bars.0 -
For a minture there i thought you were going to provide something long and thin LOL0

Haha, you can provide that, and pull it off yourself lol!0

thanks again Supersonic i tried used a cable tie sprayed with GT85 but in the end found the original pipe attachment and that transformed a labour intensive task into a 2 min job.
What about get the ends of the new grips in, the originals where soft rub the new ones are more rigid plastic with layers of disks.
Tap in with rubber mallet ?0 -

Tap in with what ever you see fit. I just used my palm to get mine in.0 -

Spray bars with hairspray! Helps grips slide on and then drys and sticks the grips to the bar.0

Since those are lockons, unscrew both bolts, slide on to bars and then do the bolts up again.0

to get the old ones off you can also sometimes use an air compressor. just stick the nozzle thing inbetween the grip and the outside of the handle bar and press di button and pull it off at the same timeMy bike takes me places that school never could0
