My brake handles getting too close to my fingers

I have hayes stroker trail fitted on my bike. The brake handles been slowing moving close and closer toward my fingers on the handle. I was wondering if there was anyway to move the handle back a bit or is it just a case of the brake cable stretching and needs replacing? Thanks for any help!

    Cables don't stretch on hydraulic brakes, if yours have there are problems.
    I've added a signature to prove it is still possible.

    adjust the reach adjuster to move the levers away from the bars.

    as covered in the manual.
