why not have a kebab pizza?0

I have actually had both. Not good, already put in a warning to the local water company: open the gates wide at 10am, coming through.0

They actually do make a kebab pizza here. If you're ever near Anglesey, I'll be sure to introduce you to humanity's greatest achievment in the field of calorie overload0

I miss the kebab pizza from the Indian Sizzler in Coatbridge... total beast of a pizza. I managed to perfect it though by ordering pizza with half and half toppings... kebab and spicy mince. Would totally obliterate your arsehole but if you could do the time you'd do the crime. God I bloody miss that takeaway shopFormally known as Coatbridgeguy0

The best £8.90 you'll ever spend.
Was pretty much the only time I'd ever order pizza. Prefer to make my own usually but spicy mince/kebab pizza....oooftFormally known as Coatbridgeguy0 -
Best pizza I ever had was a chicken kiev one. Unfortunately, me and my mate had erm, smoked too much party tobacco, and were starving. And we didn't have any chicken, or garlic. BUT, we did have some of those frozen chicken kiev things the size of tennis balls. So we put 6 of them on a hawaiian pizza and cooked it.
It was both incredibly tasty, and also hysterically funny at the time. In fact, for some reason (hmm, can't think why), I was struggling to eat it inbetween hyperventilating with laughter.0 -
Place near us does a kebab calzone, kebab meat, chicken kebab meat, ham pepperoni, onions tomato pizza sauce and cheese in a folded pizza base, it's amazingly good0
-
Kebab calzone sounds a winner. Once a week I've been getting a calzone for lunch in the office... sadly just ham and cheese. The place I get it from is next to an Armenian restaurant... I should tell them to combine for ultimate awesome.
Another thing they don't do here which is awesome...chips and cheeseFormally known as Coatbridgeguy0 -
...and of course, I miss the munchie box (dunno if that's just a Scottish thing)

The best calzone I've had mind is from a place called la vita in the jordaan area of Amsterdam. It's proper calzone; salami, pepperoni, prosciutto, onions, peppers and artichokes as well as sauce and cheese, but then it's topped with a load of bolognese and more cheese, all for 7€. I shall be popping in there in the summer as the appartment I'm renting for a few days is right across the road0

For proper authentic calzone the best I've had was from a small restaurant in a village called Latera (about 15 minutes from the Mugello circuit). Simple as (sauce, ham, cheese, pepperoni). One of the greatest eating experiences I have ever hadFormally known as Coatbridgeguy0

Any of you had one of those awesome kebabs in Les Gets? They're amazing. Big cuts of deli meats in a really soft bread. You don't get meat like that in this country outside of expensive restaurants.0

I don't think i can look at kebab again after last night.
Not for another week anyway :roll:0 -
Nom, donner calzone is the king of wasted eats.0

This is a question I can never answer every time we get takeaway. So each time I end up with..
1 hot pizza - Hot and Spicy, Mexicano, etc..
1 tray of kebab meat.
1 portion of cheesy chips.
And the missus gets a chicken kebab or something, so I pinch half of her veg.
Then you can eat a slice of pizza, followed by a handful of kebab meat, followed by a handful of veg, followed by some chips....and repeat. Once you feel sick, you can give the excess to the dog.0 -
Not a fan of pizza but i enjoy Chicken Gyros. But the best Gyros i have had was in Rhodes. So much better than Turkish Donner Kebabs. Plus not to my knowlage you don't get Tzatziki in any of the Kebab places round here. Just Chilli or the piss poor equivalent of runny Yoghurt sauce.0

Kebap pizzas, and pizza kebabs are the greatest inventions of life! Why can't they be made healthy somehow!0

How about a make your own curry pizza? They are lovely. Take a naan bread (large) cover with a shop bought curry sauce of your choice (I like a bhuna) then add chicken tikka chunks, chopped sheek kebab, onions, peppers, tomatoes and if you like, chillies Cover in cheese and chopped fresh corriander and bake in a high oven for 10 mins until the cheese has melted. Serve with yoghurt mint dip.

What's a sheek kebab?
My view on the matter is that it's always best to have other people make food for you. That way you get to be lazy, AND eat.0 -
Yeah but the dirty people who make them spit on them. Or worse. That yoghurt is not just yoghurt,0

a sheek kebab is like a spicy Indian susage, made from minced lamb. Also good is a nargis kebab, a boiled egg wrapped in the same spicy lamb meat like a scotch egg and served with a single egg omelette on top0 -
you mean seekh kebab?0
-
Sikh kebab? I am sure that is a porn film.0
